Having thought long and hard before buying a CISS system, I have to say that the last 3 years have changed my mind completely. The simplicity of the CISS system from Cityink Express and the the staggering sums of money saved make this a must have for parents (since so much can wasted by kids) and business alike. Once setup, you simply pull out the cartridge and re-seat it, (I usually wait 4-5 secs) to make it be recognised once more.

Think of it this way, the cost of the entire CISS system is less than 2 original ink sets from EPSON!

Quality - The prints that I have produced are excellent and have been used in friends official wedding photo albums the print outs are that good. Could a skilled artist or expert designer tell the difference between inks? Not sure, however they normally use colour laser-jets, which are far too expensive for us. Assuming you use the correct photo quality paper, then the ink dries immediately, everytime! Also works fine on normal paper, if it stays wet, it is the fault of the paper, not the inks, I can assure you.

Refilling - With the CISS system this is almost never required, however the first fill up is straightforward and links to YouTube videos can be found including some from Cityinks.

TIP: Make sure the cables are not too tight, or do not bend too much or it can restrict ink flow.

Well I think it's a wonderful system - see the attached photo for my setup. It paid for itself when I had my first real commercial order, for 120 double-sided flyers. I would normally expect that much printing to use a significant amount of an ink cartridge.

I intend to continue with this setup for pretty much the life of the printer. Thanks very much for such a great system!

Having already fitted a CISS system to my Epson XP-202 and achieved excellent results.

When my God Daughter in Russia asked for a new printer for her birthday, I got her a new Epsom XP-342 and it went without saying City Ink Express's CISS system for the new printer.

Easy to set up with video help, she now doesn't worry about how many pictures she prints off because of the cost of cartridges.

Both her and my printers working great.

I purchased my CISS system at the end of May 2018 to add to my brand-new Epson Workforce WF-7720. I was already a fan of the system having purchased a CISS unit from City Ink Express for my old Brother MFC-990 CW printer (which is still working flat out with no change of quality) back in December 2016.

The package arrived early the next day – amazing service. I opened up the tutorials on You Tube and found them so easy to follow – all done in real time. The installation was an absolute doddle with the WF-7720, in fact it took less time than the You Tube video took to run.

The printer has been in constant use in our small but busy office working alongside our old and trusty Brother MFC-990 CW. Since switching to CISS we have noticed a huge difference in the amount of waste ink cartridges and no inky fingers!

As plastic waste becomes more and more prevalent in the modern day, I would urge everyone to switch to CISS, it not only saves waste but saves money too – WIN WIN

Manufacturers will tell you , use any other ink that ours and it will damage your printer. I’m not saying that it is not possible to damage your printer but I have refilled cartridges many many times with City ink over the years without an issue. Now I like an easy life I’ve converted mine , my parents and a number of my friends to City Inks CISS system and they just work. Out of the printers I’ve converted I would guess my oldest is about five years old and none of them has had any problems with the prints being as good today as they were when new. I’ve asked City Ink for advice in the past and got a pretty immediate response with some helpful and knowledgeable people responding. So in short I would fully recommend City ink especially their CISS system and as the prices are pretty good I don’t see me going anywhere else for my ink anytime soon.

I have been using this excellent system for a little while now and am really pleased with the results. As I print colour photographs for display and calendars each year for my extensive family and friends, quality is most important. Cost isn't necessarily the most important factor, but having set up the system with the six tanks and first lots of ink, then the resultant cost saving is impressive.

In the past few days, I have been making comparative prints of some I have done in the past, using a different printer and inks. These were printed on gloss paper at the highest standard setting and I considered them most impressive. Using the new system and inks with a similar type of paper, there is an obvious improvement in sharpness and colour rendering: quite impressive.

On my Facebook page, I have commended this system to my family and friends and I commend it to any who check this website for information about City Express Ink System.

I highly recommend the CISS for the Epson BX300f. I have previously used the official Epson ink cartridges, though these were not always available, and were very expensive. I have also tried the unbranded ones from supermarkets etc, but frustratingly hard to get them recognized. So when I heard about the continuous ink system, I thought to give it a try, especially as it offered a lot more ink at the same price as a set of official ink cartridges.

The extremely helpful YouTube videos, on priming the cartridges and installation, make installing the ciss fairly easy. Though I would recommend some gloves and kitchen roll on your work surface.

Looked online for solutions to my ink refills. There are very few ink refill shops close to where I live which put me on to City Ink Express. Very pleased with their products and customer service so would wholeheartedly recommend.

I was delighted at how easy it was to install this CISS. I work in IT support and over the years I’ve learned to dread the moment when I power up a printer and then get it to recognise CISS ink cartridges. The printer usually rejects all of the cartridges in the unit and I spend hours trying everything I know to get the printer working. Not so in this case.

I installed the unit while the printer was switched off, powered it up and got the usual ink cartridge not recognised message. I merely lifted the ink cartridge unit back out of the cradle slightly, clicked it back into position and Eureka the printer happily accepted it. I was printing off reams within in a minute or two.

Great unit at a very reasonable price and so, so easy to fit.
