Refillable printer ink
Cartridge for Canon - with or without chip
STEP 1) Remove the print
head from your printer
STEP 2) Carefully place
each silicon nozzle seals into position
STEP 3) Incorrectly placed
silicon seals can cause poor ink quality. Please ensure that the silicon
seals do not move from position when inserting the cartridges.
STEP 4) Remove fill hole
plug
STEP 5) Fill syringe with
ink then remove needle
STEP 6) Insert syringe into
hole left by removing " fill hole plug" you should push down firmly to
ensure the syringe is tight and secure
STEP 7) Slowly press down
to fill ink cartridge
STEP 8) When you let go the
syringe will move up on its own, when it stops moving pull back on the
syringe to withdraw some air pressure
STEP 9) Repeat steps
5,6,7,8 until cartridge is nearly 3/4 full and no more
STEP 10) Remove the yellow
pull tab
STEP 11) Remove cartridge
from orange cradle and insert into printer, sometimes there may be
residue in orange cradle depending on how quickly you have pressed down
on the syringe. Slower the better. Clean orange cradle and store for
next time
STEP 12) If you are not
going to use the cartridges for more than 3 weeks we advise you re-cover
the hole left by removal of the yellow tape - doing this will ensure the
ink stays fresher - and does not dry out
The chips
are auto reset so after removal from the printer the ink level monitor
will return to 100% - if this fails simply switch the printer on and off
