What is a continuous ink system ?

Basically the R360 dye ink cartridges insert into your printer as normal these are connected by tubes to external tanks which sit at the side of your R360 dye ink printer, as the ink is used in the R360 dye ink cartridge it is automatically topped up from the external tank.

When the colour runs out on the external tank you can buy bulk ink for the R360 dye ink printer in a bottle to refill. Bottle sizes are available in 100ml 200ml

This R360 dye ink ciss uses auto reset chips, which mean when you switch the R360 printer on and off the ink levels reset themselves to 100% again.

Each of the reservoirs on the R360 dye ink ciss holds 100ml and this is a prefilled unit containing a massive 600ml of ink this is equivalent to around 67 cartridges worth of ink for the R360 dye ink printer.

This means your initial cartridge costs work out at around 67p per cartridge but when you come to refill the system you just buy the ink refill bottles and your ongoing running costs are around 53p per cartridge
